Last Sunday, 3/11, Chen, May, Judy Jones (missionary to Vietnam), Loan & Allen rcvd a warm welcome by the Coastline Church of Christ (Torrance) and praises for the lesson and sermon presented. They invited Allen to come back and to give another guest sermon on Sunday, 3/25 (services at 9:00 a.m.; Bible class at 10:30 a.m.; 1121 Lomita Blvd Harbor City, CA 90710). They expressed full support for our effort to creatively reach out to the Asians in Southern California!
Tomorrow, Sunday, 3/18, we will have an important meeting with the elders of the Culver-Palms Church of Christ to discuss sponsorship. Pray for us! They are located at 9733 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles 90034; Bible Class 9:00 a.m., Coffee & Donuts 9:55 a.m., Worship 10:15 a.m.
Although we have not had a House Worship for awhile, the meetings we've been having with other congregations are very important and necessary for our future work.
