Reminder, the Asian Outreach Ministry Team will be presented before the Culver-Palms church of Christ this Sunday, 4/29 (9733 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles 90034; Bible Class 9:00 a.m., Coffee & Donuts 9:55 a.m., Worship 10:15 a.m.). Visit to Duarte; Presentation at Culver-Palms

Plans are to visit the Duarte Church of Christ (1330 Highland Ave Duarte, CA 91010
Tel: 626-357-3540) this Sunday, April 22, and the Culver-Palms Church of Christ on Sunday, April 29 (the Asian Outreach will be formally presented and introduced to the congregation as a ministry of the Culver-Palms church during the Sunday morning worship).

Last Sunday, an authentic replica of the British Museum of Natural History's Egyptian papyrus "Trial of the Heart" was shown! History and beliefs of the ancient Egyptians were interestingly woven into an understanding of the Holy Bible! If you missed this and would like to see it on a Saturday night fellowship, please let us know.

The Secrets of Ancient Egypt!

There will be a special lesson tomorrow for those who have a bent on HISTORY! I have some interesting stuff you've probably never heard of before contrasting the theology of ancient Egypt (discussing Egyptian art and symbolism) with that of the Bible and asking the question, "Is there life after death?"

Last week we had 23 people for a Passover celebration (with a Kosher Paschal meal!) of Resurrection Day! Attending were: Eric, Angie, Benji, Lianne, Atikah, Daniel, Sue-Ann, Tiffany, James, Qi, Su, Jeremy, Larry, John, Mai, Chen, Peter, Peony, Paul, Raymond, Andrea, Loan, and Allen.

Resurrection Sunday!

For this Sunday's (April 8) 10:30 a.m. House Worship at the house of Allen & Loan, we will be ordering a Kosher Passover Meal from a Jewish Delicatessen to retell the story of Moses, the Passover & Exodus from Egypt, and how it symbolizes Jesus, the Perfect Lamb Sacrifice of God for the sins of the people! If you would like to join us, please call so we would be sure to order enough meals! If you wait and did not RSVP, please feel free to come anyway! Eric Quek will be giving a lesson contrasting Christianity and Islam.
